Africa Wildlife Tracking
At Africa Wildlife Tracking (AWT), we believe in scientific-based conservation. Our mission is to enable conservationists and researchers to collect vital data using a multitude of cutting-edge sensors to assist in understanding and protecting wildlife ecosystems. We create rugged tracking devices which enable our customers to effectively monitor ecosystems in real time to aid anti-poaching efforts, reducing human-wildlife conflict and making scientific advances to better conserve and understand the needs of animals.
We are a family-run business with multiple generations of conservationists at the helm. With expertise in wildlife telemetry spanning four decades, we have become a world leader in developing solutions at the forefront of technological progress. We pride ourselves on delivering products which are reliable and relevant.
We have worked on leopard species on 3 different continents and understand how best to attach tracking devices and sensors in diverse, unique and challenging environments. We have a range of leopard products available, which can be used for live tracking as well as research and monitoring. We love learning from our customers and are constantly pushing the boundaries to do whatever is needed to conserve and protect these magnificent animals.
Our collars have internal memories: they log and send crucial data that is backed up on our cloud servers. This ensures no data is ever lost, even when coverage is an issue. Our latest generation of devices are Bluetooth enabled which allows for easy storage and quick deployment and configuration of settings.

“Whova made our trade show attendance very efficient and we were able to capitalize on quick meetings during the show but also keep building business after the show. I wish more trade shows and expos would use the Whova lead capture app.”
